Little man received some good mail last week from Nana(pictured below) and then a box followed a few days later from Omi & Papa. It contained matchbox cars, a dress shirt, socks, Nekot cookies, gummy bears, ginger cookies and soap for mom. Also some onsies and handmade burp cloth and bib for baby bee.

Getting close to the end of our bounty from the farm. This week we received onions, leeks, decorative gourds, winter squash, potatoes, beets, pie pumpkins, 2 pecks of apples and cherry wine.

AEDM Day 21

Today I worked on Little Man's scrapbook some more. Would like to get as much done before baby bee comes. I completed 12 pages. 11 for his first year/calendar and 1 of his 1st haircut at 5 months, which I forgot to take a picture of. I need to hook up the scanner since the pictures aren't so great. I made the calendar before he was born, but still needed to add pictures and events for each day(which were recorded in my date book).

AEDM Day 20

It's finished. Crocheted a few last rows this morning and sewed in all the ends.

AEDM Day 19

Worked on the baby blanket a little more today and lots last night. Just have a little to finish up hopefully in the morning before the baby shower.

More Good Mail

I placed and order on Burt's Bees for their grab bag and a men's grab bag, plus I got muscle mend and a bee keeper tin for free(4 chapsticks in it). The grab bags were half price and if you placed an order of $40 or more you received free shipping. I got part of the order today, hopefully the other grab bag comes soon.


Not bad for $15.

I ordered a cute yellow outfit for the baby bee from heart & sew. I really like it and can't wait till baby bee can wear it.

AEDM Day 18

Today we had an animal party with 9 kids. We made a horse out of toilet paper rolls, cups, popsicle sticks and a few other craft supplies. Pretty fun and easy. You can also see the oragami animals I made last week and the animal food I prepared this morning. We had ants on a log, ladybugs, penguins, goldfish crackers, swedish fish, gummy bears, cheese bunnies, chocolate chip bunnies, annimal crackers, jello jigglers and baked macaroni and cheese.

Good Mail Day

I received to vintage dresses I ordered in the mail today. This one and this one. Also received a stencil(below) for journaling that I won over at Awkward & Beautiful.

AEDM Day 17

Today i prepared a horse craft for the animal party we are having tomorrow and Gavin water colored another butterfly on a coffee filter. No pictures today.

Did a little baking today, and went to Micheal's and Target to get stuff for the kids party I'm doing this week.


Also worked on yellow baby blanket again.

Went to the dentist today and still have a headache. I worked on crocheting some more today and still need to journal, will probably be some doodling this evening.

Got a lot done on the yellow blanket last night and worked on it some more today.

Started a new baby blanket in yellow for a friend who is due at the end of the month. I've started it 3 times today because I couldn't decide how i wanted to make it. Will post some pictures of the progress later today.

Meeting this morning and off to work this evening. I was able to finish the baby blanket and will take my journal some tonight. Pictures tomorrow.

AEDM/NaNoJouMo Day 6

Busy day. Went to the wildlife sanctuary and a clothes swap. I did find time to do a little journaling/doodling and work on the blanket. I just have to finish the edge of the blanket and sew in the ends tomorrow. No pictures today.

Progress on the blanket from yesterday. I worked on it more today, but no pictures yet.

More doodling today and yesterday.

I also did some baking with my boy. We made Tropicolada Cheesecake and Tiramasu Choclate Chip Muffins.

csa week 21

Yesterday this weeks veggie share brought spinach, cilantro, cauliflower, onions, chard, kale, green onions, acorn squash, cabbage, potatoes, beets, tomatoes, eggplant, diakon radish.

Fruit share was 1 peck of Golden Delicious Apples and a bottle of cherry wine.

Progress on the Baby Blanket. I'm doing about a skein of yarn each day. Hopefully tomorrow I can do a little more so I get it done in time. I also picked up some more yarn today at Micheal's since it is on sale this week. I'm going to make a yellow blanket too for another friend having a girl.

AEDM/NaNoJouMo Day 2

This evening I started a baby blanket for a friend whose baby shower is Saturday. Hopefully I finish in time.(Sorry about the bad pictures, it's really late and the lighting is bad.)

For my art journal page today I just tested out some new pens I bought at Target. The bottom eight are COLOR SHARP Metallic Fine Point Perm Markers, and the top five are Paper Mate Flair Felt Tip Markers.

AEDM/NaNoJouMo Day 1

Didn't get a whole lot of art done today. But I did collect some leaves from the front yard when we got home from the post office. Most of them were dried out already. There were some pretty purples ones I wanted, but they were all crumply. I put these in my Wreck This Journal.

Then I was able to do some journaling before bed. I started the pink doodling a few days ago and finished up the page today.

November Goals

This month I have decided to try NaBloPoMo, AEDM, NaNoJouMo. I've already been journaling a lot more lately and posting on my other blog every few days. So this should help me pick up the pace with both!

I'm also going to try to help my son do more art this month.

Canvas & Cocktails

Went the Canvas & Cocktails last night with some great friends. They taught us how to paint Ferngully while we enjoyed music and drinks. But a few us decided to try different paintings they had or just do our own thing. It was lots of fun! Definitely want to go again soon! Now to just start the 9 canvases I've had sitting in my room for 2 years.
